CASTROL SPHEEROL AP 3
Spheerol™ AP 2 and AP 3 are lithium-based greases incorporating solvent-refined base oils. They contain oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, which help to ensure long service life and a high level of protection for metal surfaces. The greases are water-resistant.
Spheerol™ AP 2 and AP 3 are mainly intended for use in plain and roller bearings of all types and in all kinds of machinery under normal load conditions and within an operating temperature range of -20 °C to +120 °C.Application
Spheerol™ AP 2 and AP 3 are primarily intended for use in plain and anti-friction , ball and roller bearings besides other machinery applications. They are recommended for use under normal load conditions, within an operating temperature range of -20°C to +120°C. Due to the low viscosity used in these products, they are particularly suitable for high speed bearings.

CASTROL SPHEEROL SX 2
Spheerol SX 2 is a complex calcium sulphonate grease providing superior performance benefits in the highly aggressive conditions experienced in the marine environment.
Application
Spheerol SX 2 is a true multipurpose ship machinery lubricant, specifically developed to provide enhanced lubrication and protection for bearings, wire ropes and open gears usually found in marine environments.
Spheerol SX 2 is suitable for most journal bearings, wire ropes and open gears used in marine deck equipment and can be considered for roller, ball and needle bearings generally used in engine room equipment.
In addition to the excellent protection provided for wire ropes and open gears, Spheerol SX 2 is also suitable for use on a wide range of deck equipment where it will protect and lubricate hinges, turnbuckles, screws, fair leads etc.
For multipurpose applications a grease gun may be used with Spheerol SX 2. Alternatively traditional application methods can be used for wire ropes and open gears. (Please see also “”Additional Information””).Features / Benefits

CASTROL SPHEEROL EP 2
Castrol Spheerol EP2 is an extreme pressure, lithium-based, general-purpose industrial grease of an NLGI No. 2 consistency.
Application
Castrol Spheerol EP2 is recommended as a general-purpose grease in all heavily loaded or shock-loaded plain and anti-friction bearings or where an extreme pressure additive is required on industrial plant and earthmoving equipment. The product is suitable for operating temperatures between -25°C to 120°C.

CASTROL SPHEEROL HD
Castrol Spheerol HD is a premium, lithium complex, NLGI No. 2 grease, especially developed for heavy duty applications. The product is enhanced by tackifier, 5% molybdenum disulphide and extreme pressure additives, which offer excellent protection from wear. Suitable for use at operating temperatures between -20º and 150ºC.
Application
Castrol Spheerol HD may be used in a variety of heavy duty and high temperature applications in areas of severe operating and climatic conditions. The product is especially suitable for the lubrication of heavy duty components that are subjected to rotating motion, stock loading and water ingress, for example : chassis, highly loaded kingpins, U-joints, bucket pins, fifth wheels and open gears.

CASTROL SPHEEROL APS 3

CASTROL SPHEEROL LMM
Castrol Spheerol™ LMM is a multi-purpose lithium grease containing molybdenum disulphide solid lubricant to enhance its load carrying properties under conditions of high or shock loading or to prevent scuffing or fretting. It contains oxidation and corrosion inhibitors, anti-wear additives, has good mechanical stability and can be used in the presence of moisture. Molybdenum disulphide level of 3% is typical for this product.
Application
Spheerol™ LMM grease is suitable for most types of bearing and a wide range of other industrial applications, which require a molybdenum disulphide grease, including grease lubricated gears. Spheerol™ LMM may be used in plain and rolling element bearings, including heavily loaded bearings at low and medium speeds, and those subject to shock loading and excessive vibrations. The incorporation of solid lubricant in Spheerol LMM greases makes this grease particularly suited for the lubrication of reciprocating and sliding motion elements, where the prevention of scuffing and fretting is desirable. Typical applications include pivot pins, cams, screws, splined shafts, slides, flexible joints (ball, universal, CV joints etc). It is also useful for the lubrication of chains, swivels and shackles to prevent scuffing.

CASTROL WB GREASE
Castrol WB Grease is a high quality, NLGI Grade 3 lubricating grease based on an optimised combination of lithium thickener, high viscosity mineral oil and polymer technology.
Application
The combination of high viscosity base oils, polymer and lithium thickener technology make Castrol WB Grease suitable for use in a wide variety of components including rolling element bearings and chassis points where operating conditions involve slow speeds and the requirement for a grease offering good film strength and adhesive qualities.
Castrol WB Grease is particularly suitable for use in wheel bearings and slow speed rolling element bearings found on heavy duty mining and construction equipment where peak temperatures do not exceed 120°C.

CASTROL MS GREASE
Castrol MS Grease is an NLGI No. 2 lithium soap grease containing a proportion of Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS2) to offer lubrication even when the grease is forced out of the bearing. Castrol MS Grease is suitable for shock loaded bearings where the solid lubricant provides more anti-wear protection than a normal grease. Suitable for CV joints, universal joints and so on. Suitable for use at operating temperatures between -30ºC and 130ºC.
