CASTROL ALPHASYN PG 460
Castrol Alphasyn™ PG 220 gear oil is a synthetic lubricant based on polyalkyleneglycol (PAG) fluids enhanced with antioxidants, rust inhibitors and Extreme Pressure (EP) additives of high thermal stability.
Application
Alphasyn PG 220 gear oil is primarily intended for use in worm reduction gearboxes, where the low coefficient of friction of the PAG base fluid improves efficiency and consequently reduces power consumption and operating temperatures. This is particularly important in applications where sliding contact is high.
The use of a PAG base stock provides inherently high Viscosity Index (VI) and low pour point makes the product suitable for use over a wide temperature range. Alphasyn PG 220 meets the requirements of most OEM’s that allow the use of PAG based gear oils.Advantages
-Low coefficient of friction reduces energy consumption and lowers operating temperatures, this leads to longer oil life.

CASTROL SPHEEROL SX 2
Spheerol SX 2 is a complex calcium sulphonate grease providing superior performance benefits in the highly aggressive conditions experienced in the marine environment.
Application
Spheerol SX 2 is a true multipurpose ship machinery lubricant, specifically developed to provide enhanced lubrication and protection for bearings, wire ropes and open gears usually found in marine environments.
Spheerol SX 2 is suitable for most journal bearings, wire ropes and open gears used in marine deck equipment and can be considered for roller, ball and needle bearings generally used in engine room equipment.
In addition to the excellent protection provided for wire ropes and open gears, Spheerol SX 2 is also suitable for use on a wide range of deck equipment where it will protect and lubricate hinges, turnbuckles, screws, fair leads etc.

CASTROL RUSTILO DW 330
Castrol Rustilo™ DW 330 (previously called SafeCoat™ DW 33) is a high quality solvent deposited corrosion preventive with good dewatering properties. The solvent, after evaporation, leaves a firm greasy protective film.
Application
Rustilo DW 330 is a long term protective for use in severe conditions where a high degree of protection is required. It is ideal for protection of machine tools and components prior to long-term storage or transportation.
The product also shows good water displacing properties. Although Rustilo DW 330 can be applied by brushing or spraying, its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank.Advantages

The Castrol Perfecto XEP range of turbine oils is formulated from severely hydro treated premium mineral base stocks together with a complex additive system to provide requisite anti wear performance and oxidative stability
Application
The Perfecto XEP range is primarily intended for the lubrication of highly loaded industrial gas turbines, aero derivative power turbines & driven machinery and turbo machinery where the lubricant is exposed to high local temperatures during operation and the heat soaking period during run down.
The Perfecto XEP range possess the requisite air release, foaming and water separation properties for steam turbines making them suitable and compliant for gas and steam turbines in single train sharing a common oil reservoir.

CASTROL AIRCOL LPT 68
The Castrol Aircol™ LPT Range (previously called Energol™ LPT) are refrigeration compressor lubricants formulated from highly refined naphthenic base oils for use in both large and industrial and small domestic refrigeration units.
Application
The Aircol LPT range is formulated to function as lubricants and coolants, as well as sealants in refrigerating compressors.
They maintain good lubrication properties at the high temperatures reached during the compression phase and good fluidity at the low temperatures within the evaporators. Excellent lubrication of the moving parts in the compressor as well as recycling of the oil, entrained into the system by the refrigerant, are therefore ensured.
The chemical stability of the Aircol LPT oils prevents them from reacting with the refrigerants used in refrigeration systems to form potentially disruptive breakdown products. All Aircol LPT grades are suitable for use in systems using Ammonia (NH3) or halogenated hydrocarbons. They can also be used where good low temperature flow properties are required in the lubricant.
